Bonrepublic is an HR software platform founded in 2020, aiming to promote employee development systematically across Europe. We are seeking support for our team of 25 employees in our Vienna office.

Responsibilities

• Extend and maintain core products using Python, Django, and Django REST framework.
• Design, implement, and review code for event-driven RESTful web services with Celery, RabbitMQ, and Redis.
• Increase test coverage by writing automated tests and working with PostgreSQL databases.
• Improve code quality through refactoring and version control with Git and GitHub.
• Document work using Open API and Swagger UI, and communicate actively within the team.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, including deploying containerized software on AWS with Docker and Kubernetes.

Requirements

• Completed IT education (HTL, Uni, FH).
• 5+ years of experience in Python development, including Django (DRF) and Java.
• Experience with RESTful web services, Celery, RabbitMQ, Redis, and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with microservices architectures and Scrum teams, ideally in international, distributed organizations.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is highly valued.
• Fluent in English; German skills are a plus but not required.
