Job summary

Hamilton Medical seeks a Cloud Platform Lead to own the end-to-end Azure cloud infrastructure and SaMD platform strategy for the Software as a Medical Device business unit. You will be the single accountable owner for the Azure environment, from day-to-day operations to long-term platform evolution and security governance.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience owning Azure cloud infrastructure in a production environment (IAM, networking, compute, storage, monitoring).
• Strong infrastructure-as-code skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving environment with minimal management overhead.
• Structured and analytical problem-solving with clear communication to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the Azure cloud environment end-to-end, including tenant administration, IAM, subscription governance, and resource organization.
• Ensure platform reliability through capacity planning, monitoring, incident response, and disaster recovery.
• Build and maintain reusable IaC building blocks for engineering teams.
• Define and enforce platform standards across development, staging, and production environments.
• Own the cloud platform strategy and multi-quarter roadmap, communicating decisions to leadership.
• Govern cloud security standards and collaborate with external security partners as needed.
• Monitor, forecast, and optimize cloud spend and present cost reports.
