A government agency is seeking an Associate Director Digital Systems & Platforms to lead digital transformation initiatives. The role involves strategic leadership in designing and implementing secure, reliable digital systems. Ideal candidates possess extensive experience in enterprise platforms and strong leadership skills. This position offers a permanent full-time contract with hybrid work options, salary between $183,848 and $208,267.

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic leader to join the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water as the Associate Director, Digital Systems and Platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving the development, management and optimisation of digital systems that underpin the delivery of high-quality services for the community.
You will provide strategic leadership in the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of digital systems, business applications, Artificial Intelligence, integration and automation solutions that reflect contemporary best practice. You will be responsible for ensuring our digital systems are modern, secure, reliable, and aligned with whole-of-government standards and business needs.
To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience leading enterprise digital systems, platforms or ICT services in complex organisations. You will also have strong strategic and operational leadership skills, with the ability to align technology solutions to business outcomes. As well as expertise in enterprise platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM, HR/Finance systems, collaboration tools, cloud platforms).
This role also requires you to have strong vendor management, contract negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills. Along with excellent communication, influencing and problem-solving capabilities.
DCCEEW conserves and protects the state’s natural environment. It manages the NSW national park estate, including its rich and diverse biodiversity and Aboriginal cultural heritage for future generations.
DCCEEW also ensures sustainable management of water resources across the state, to support the environment, communities and industry.
