HW3 is seeking an Associate Service Engineer to support DeltaV distributed control systems and related automation solutions. You will diagnose hardware, software, and communication faults under guidance, gaining deep expertise in DeltaV platforms and service offerings.

This entry-to-mid-level role emphasises hands-on troubleshooting, customer interaction, and structured career development in industrial automation across customer sites and office environments.

Qualifikationen

• Technical education or degree in an engineering discipline.
• Strong interest in troubleshooting and technical customer support.
• Very good German and good English skills (written and spoken).
• Technical competencies in networking & IT and electrical fundamentals.
• Willingness to work outside regular hours and on-call duties.
• Valid Class B driving license.

Aufgaben

• Support service, maintenance, and repair activities on DeltaV systems and components.
• Assist in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and communication faults.
• Perform routine maintenance, system health checks, and documentation on control systems.
• Participate in FAT/SAT, installations, commissioning, training, fault diagnosis at customer sites.
• Support hardware and software upgrades, modifications, and system configuration tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organised on-site and office working environment.
• Build knowledge of DeltaV systems, service agreements, and support packages.
• Continuously develop technical and professional skills through training and mentoring.
• Collaborate with technicians and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality customer solutions.
• Comply with quality, safety, and compliance requirements.
