EPFL invites applications for a faculty position in Theory and Simulation of Materials at the Tenure Track Assistant Professor level. The appointment aims for a start date in late 2027 or early 2028, or as mutually agreed.

We seek outstanding scientists who develop and apply cutting-edge theoretical and computational approaches to materials. The successful candidate will supervise PhD students, collaborate across EPFL, and contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching within STI education

Qualifikationen

• A doctorate is required at the starting date.
• You are expected to develop an independent and competitive research program.
• You should contribute to STI education programs at undergraduate and graduate levels.
