Ball Corporation in Austria’s Ludesch is seeking an Assistant Plant Manager for a high-impact, on-site development role. You will collaborate with the Plant Manager to drive performance and lead cross-functional teams across production, engineering, quality, and continuous improvement.

With 4+ years in manufacturing and a relevant engineering/business degree (MBA preferred), you will mentor frontline leaders, champion safety and quality, and participate in budgeting and strategic planning.

• Take on increasing leadership responsibility through role rotations and an IDP.

Position Overview

The Assistant Plant Manager is a high-impact developmental role designed to prepare a high-potential leader for a future Plant Manager position. This role provides strategic exposure, leadership development, and increasing operational ownership while building deep expertise in the can manufacturing process and cross-functional plant operations.

What Are We Looking For?

Work Environment: This role requires full on-site presence at our Ludesch plant.

Hiring Rate: from 93,750 - 135,000 EUR gross per year. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market benchmarks.

Bonus Plan: This position is eligible to participate in Ball’s annual incentive compensation program.

Comprehensive Benefits Package: Includes pension provision, company doctor and meal allowance.
