As an Area Manager for Northern Austria (Salzburg/Linz area), you will play a key role in connecting Sales and Account Management to drive success in the region. Your main focus will be to close selection gaps in order to stay ahead of the competition. You will also represent Wolt Austria in the area and build strong partnerships with local restaurants whilst managing a portfolio of selected venues. You will closely collaborate with several commercial teams, such as Merchant Services and Account Management, to improve overall merchant satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is structured, detail-oriented, and enjoys a diverse working week. Preferably you have previous experience in working with data and have the ability to use it to be smart with your Merchants and strengthen your partnerships.

What you’ll be doing

  • The main scope of this role is to identify and close selection gaps and maintain partnerships with live partners.
  • Exploring the market to uncover new opportunities, also by using provided databases.
  • Managing and nurturing a pipeline of potential partnerships.
  • Make sure to close selection gaps and make Wolt successful in the area - this means a close and effective collaboration with all relevant internal stakeholders (Marketing; Account Management; Sales)
  • Leading expansion efforts of delivery areas in collaboration with regional Operations.
  • Building a strong network of local stakeholders in the Restaurant, Retail and Delivery landscape.
  • Working against monthly city targets, that will be defined by Country Leadership Team
  • Managing a portfolio of selected venues
  • Driving revenue growth of Wolt and partners in your portfolio by improving venue performance through data driven consultation
  • Working closely together with the marketing team to plan and execute campaigns together with business partners
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication (over the phone and in person)
  • Determine the needs and wants of merchants, prioritize them by impact on the business, and work to co-create solutions
  • Strategically introduce new Wolt products to expand partnerships and increase revenue
  • Re-negotiate terms and conditions with partners
  • Support partners locally for quick fixes like hardware exchange or set-up
  • Live training with key partners during onboarding stage

  • Strong analytical experience and specific knowledge of analytical dashboards - for example, Looker
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and adapt to the tone to suit the audience.
  • Structured, detailed, tech-savvy and service-oriented.
  • High ownership, team spirit and ambition to go beyond the obvious.
  • Native-level German and fluent in English.
  • Experience working with CRM systems is a plus.
  • Working in the field, visiting multiple leads weekly.
  • Skilled at communicating with B2B and B2C leads, both in person and over the phone.
  • Natural networker with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Driven "hunter" mentality, relentless in securing meetings with potential partners.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Candidates based in the Salzburg or Linz area are preferred due to enhanced proximity to key stakeholders and smoother regional collaboration.

We offer an attractive salary starting at EUR 43.000 which is adjusted and increased depending how well you go through the process.
