As a passionate advocate for new ways of working, you’ll promote a collaborative and forward-thinking culture through coaching, mentoring, and training. You’ll also help curate and maintain models and meta-models within our group architecture repository, ensuring consistency and alignment across the enterprise.

If you’re a natural leader with deep expertise in architecture practices and a talent for empowering others, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll do

  • Champion Architecture Best Practices: Support the development, maintenance, and promotion of TOGAF-aligned meta-models, architecture standards, methods, and roadmaps
  • Guide Governance and Consistency: Implement and support architecture governance frameworks, ensuring consistent practices and high-quality deliverables
  • Coach and Mentor: Uplift architecture maturity through one-on-one coaching, group sessions, training events, and tailored learning materials
  • Drive Capability Building: Lead learning initiatives, establish learning objectives, and promote continuous improvement across architecture teams and domains
  • Manage Architecture Assets: Curate, integrate, and improve architecture models, tools, and repositories to support accurate, up-to-date enterprise architecture
  • Engage and Influence: Build strong relationships across IT and business, promote architectural thinking internally and externally, and provide thought leadership
  • Ensure Alignment and Compliance: Support alignment of solution and enterprise architecture, monitor compliance, and contribute to strategy and planning
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Monitor market trends, evaluate emerging technologies, and engage with vendors to inform architecture decisions and business strategy

This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and strong communicator with a passion for enabling architectural excellence across a complex, evolving organisation.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • TOGAF or equivalent architectural certification
  • 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in IT Architecture
  • Strong knowledge of Model-Based Architecture
  • Strong understanding and experience of ArchiMate concepts and their application in Architecture modeling
  • Proficiency with architecture modeling tools (BizzDesign Horizzon preferred)
  • Familiarity with Agile and Lean methodologies
  • Experience in insurance or financial services is a plus
  • Consulting background is an advantage

What we can offer you

  • Discounts and offers on a range of retail favourite stores as well as insurance products
  • A range of flexible working and leave options, including 20 weeks paid parental leave, 4 weeks paid secondary carer parental leave and unlimited paid emergency response leave
  • Invest in your brighter future with ongoing study support and career development programs
  • Give back to our communities with payroll giving, donation matching and paid volunteer leave
  • Prioritise your work/life balance with our robust employee assistance program and dedicated employee council
