PVA TePla AG is a leading high-tech company in Austria seeking an engineer/scientist to perform ultrasonic measurements on customer samples, prepare reports, and present results. You will support demonstrations, run on-site trainings for international clients, and assist the sales team with technical inquiries.

The role requires a degree in physics, materials science, or related field, strong data interpretation, excellent English and German, and willingness to travel to customer sites worldwide.

• Degree in physics, materials science, materials engineering, or a comparable scientific/engineering discipline.
• Ability to grasp complex measurement data and present clearly.
• Strong German and English communication skills, written and spoken.

• Independently perform ultrasonic measurements on customer samples and evaluate results accurately.
• Prepare meaningful measurement reports and present them to customers.
• Contribute application know-how during technical demonstrations and give customers a solid impression of solutions.
• Conduct on-site training sessions for international customers.
• Respond to technical inquiries by email, phone, or on-site and support the sales team throughout the sales process.

Your Responsibilities

• You independently perform ultrasonic measurements on customer samples and ensure precise, reproducible evaluation of the results
• Preparing meaningful measurement reports and presenting them convincingly to customers is also part of your daily work
• During technical demonstrations of our measurement systems, you contribute your application know-how and provide prospective customers with a well-founded impression of our solutions
• You conduct on-site training sessions for our international customers and enable them to use our systems safely and efficiently
• You respond competently and solution-oriented to incoming technical and application-related customer inquiries — whether by email, phone, or directly on-site
• With your technical expertise, you actively support our sales team throughout the sales process and thus contribute directly to the company’s success

Your Profile

• You have completed a degree in physics, materials science, materials engineering, or a comparable scientific or engineering discipline – whether you are a recent graduate or already have professional experience, you are welcome to join us
• You quickly grasp complex measurement data and technical relationships and are able to present them clearly and understandably
• In dealing with international customers, you impress with a confident and professional manner – both in written communication and in personal presentations
• A strong solution- and customer-oriented mindset comes naturally to you; you always think from the other person’s perspective
• You have a good command of both German and English, written and spoken
• In addition to your work in our laboratory, you are regularly available for assignments at customer sites worldwide
