ZIMM | Komplette Hubsysteme in Lustenau sucht einen technischen Anwendungs-Spezialisten, der für die technische Gestaltung unserer Lösungen verantwortlich ist. In dieser Rolle arbeiten Sie eng mit Vertrieb und Design zusammen und stellen sicher, dass die richtigen Produkte die Kunden erreichen.

Der ideale Kandidat hat eine technische Ausbildung, versteht mechanische Beziehungen und kann Anforderungen in technische Lösungen umsetzen. Kenntnisse in Italienisch sind erforderlich, Englisch oder Deutsch sind von Vorteil.

Qualifikationen

ZIMM is a family‑owned specialist in drive technology and the European market leader in the field of screw jack gear units. With around 145 employees at the Lustenau location, we develop and manufacture technically sophisticated metal products that are used in a wide range of industrial applications worldwide. Our drive solutions are used wherever reliability, precision and technical expertise are decisive – in mechanical and plant engineering, in automation as well as in numerous customer‑specific special solutions.

To turn a customer inquiry into a functioning solution, more is needed in sales than just selling. As a technical application specialist, you are exactly the one who lays the technical foundation: you understand requirements, immerse yourself in applications and ensure that our solutions are technically sound. You work closely with sales and design and are a key contact when it comes to the right solution for the customer.

Your Tasks

• You are responsible for the technical design of our solutions and products.
• You review requirements and ensure that the right product ultimately reaches the customer.
• You work closely with sales and design and actively contribute your technical understanding to jointly analyze customer requirements and implement optimal technical solutions.
• You are the contact person for technical questions and interrelationships.
• You help to understand and classify requirements and translate them into clean, implementable solutions.
• You support customer‑specific solutions and contribute to technical problem‑solving.
• You explain technical relationships in an understandable way – internally and also in exchange with customers.

Your Profile

• A technical education, e.g. mechanical engineering, machining technician or comparable.
• You understand mechanical relationships, functions and loads and can translate requirements into concrete technical solutions.
• You recognize what is technically reasonable and feasible – and where the limits are.
• You work in a structured manner, think proactively and handle things with technical precision.
• You can explain technical content in an understandable way and enjoy working with sales and design.
• Excellent knowledge of Italian.
• Knowledge of English or German is a plus.

Statutory notice regarding remuneration: The minimum annual salary is based on the collective agreement (KV) for the metalworking industry. The actual salary is based on the Vorarlberger salary level and is above the collective agreement, depending on vocational training and experience.
