The Information Technology Office at Central European University (CEU) invites applications for a full-time (40 hrs/week) AI Support Specialist position at its Vienna campus.
CEU is seeking an enthusiastic, people-oriented AI Support Specialist to join our growing IT team. This is a hands-on role at the intersection of technology and people. You'll be the go-to person helping staff and faculty get the most out of AI tools, supporting the rollout of CEU's institutional AI platform, and playing an active part in building a culture of responsible, confident AI use across our campuses.
If you enjoy explaining technology to non-technical audiences, get excited about AI's potential in an academic environment, and want to grow your career in a place where you'll have real impact from day one, this role is for you.
We offer a competitive salary starting from a yearly gross salary of EUR 57,000, along with a dynamic and international academic environment, where technology and innovation are central to the University's mission. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to CEU's AI transformation from the ground up, with real exposure to institutional AI governance and strategy early in your career. The initial contract is for one year with the possibility of renewal.
CEU is strongly committed to the promotion of gender equality and equal opportunities within our institution. Previous training, work experience and/or engagement with matters of equality, diversity and inclusion at the organizational level will be an asset.
