ISG International Service Group is recruiting an AI Manager for a leading international pharmaceutical client in Austria. You will bridge business, technology and people to identify AI value and enable responsible adoption, building the foundation for AI-enabled ways of working.

You will drive AI transformation across functions, collaborate with international teams, and ensure governance and regulatory alignment while shaping the organization’s AI readiness and strategy.

As Artificial Intelligence reshapes the way organizations operate, our client is creating a brand-new AI Manager position to drive this transformation across the Austrian organization.

This is not a traditional IT role. Instead, you'll become the key link between business, technology and people—identifying where AI can create measurable value, enabling responsible adoption and building the foundation for the next generation of AI-enabled ways of working.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead AI transformation initiatives across business functions.


• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for AI and automation.


• Translate business needs into scalable AI use cases and transformation projects.


• Collaborate closely with Business, IT, Legal, Compliance and international stakeholders.


• Drive change management and foster AI adoption across the organization.


• Ensure AI initiatives align with governance requirements and support the organization's readiness for the EU AI Act and responsible AI practices.


• Monitor emerging AI technologies and identify practical business applications.

Your Profile

• Experience in Business Transformation, Digital Transformation, Operational Excellence, Consulting or Process Improvement.


• Practical experience delivering AI, automation or digital transformation projects.


• Strong understanding of Generative AI and its business applications.


• Familiarity with AI Governance, Responsible AI principles and the EU AI Act.


• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.


• Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach.


• Experience in regulated industries (pharma, healthcare, banking or insurance).


• Fluent in English and German.
