smec Austria seeks a highly creative Storyteller who is AI-Native to bridge human taste and rapid execution. You will craft human-centered narratives across newsletters, videos, and campaigns, shaping brand voice with AI toolchains as your studio.

You’ll lead end-to-end content from concept to distribution, interview clients for case studies, and steer paid campaigns on LinkedIn and Google Ads while maintaining a strong, original voice for DACH and international markets.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated narrative writing and storyboard or editorial content.
• Plan and produce modern B2B formats across platforms.
• Daily experience with generative AI tools and AI workflows.
• Experience turning topics into engaging digital formats.
• Proficiency in German and English for multiple markets.

Responsabilités

• Translate features into human-first narratives across newsletters, video scripts, and articles.
• Conceptualize, script, and generate short-form videos and visual assets using AI toolchains.
• Direct and refine AI output with strong creative taste; maintain brand voice.
• Build and maintain AI workflows and training data for content quality.
• Own end-to-end campaigns from hook to distribution on YouTube and social.
• Interview clients, create case studies, support webinars and conferences.

We are seeking an exceptionally creative Storyteller who is fully AI-Native. In this role, you won't choose between human creative taste and high-velocity execution. You will bring both.

You have deep creative instincts for what makes a story resonate: human emotion, visual pacing, sharp copywriting, and narrative rhythm. Instead of relying on agencies or large production teams, you use generative AI toolchains as your personal studio to turn ideas into polished videos, narrative newsletters, and visual brand campaigns autonomously.

• Human-Centered Brand Storytelling: Translate technical features and complex topics into compelling, human-first narratives across long-form newsletters, video scripts, and thought leadership articles.
• Generative Video & Media Production: Conceptualize, script, and generate short-form videos, promotional clips, and visual assets using modern AI toolchains (e.g. Higgsfield, Claude, Runway, Luma, Midjourney, Flux, ElevenLabs).
• Taste-Driven AI Editing: Direct and refine AI output using your own strong creative taste. Eliminate robotic jargon, fix awkward visual compositions, and ensure our brand voice and visual identity stay original.
• AI Workflows: Build and maintain our AI workflows, skills and training data, so the quality of our content gets better with every round.
• End-to-End Campaign Execution: Own campaigns from initial hook and story arc to asset creation, email distribution, and community engagement on Youtube and social platforms.
• Case Studies & Client Voices: Interview our clients, turn their stories into case studies, create content at conferences, and support webinars from first idea to live session.
• Paid Campaigns on LinkedIn & Google Ads: Own smec's LinkedIn, Youtube and paid search campaigns. You distribute the content, read the results, and turn them into the next round of creative.

Must have

• Uncompromising Creative Craft: Demonstrated experience in narrative writing, storyboarding, video production, or editorial content where tone, rhythm, and emotion shine through.
• Modern Format Skills: You know how to plan and produce today's B2B formats, from LinkedIn carousels and short videos to YouTube deep dives, newsletters and thought leadership posts. You find the right format for every story.
• Hands-on AI Mastery: Active, daily experience using generative tools (text-to-image, text-to-video, voice synthesis) and AI-driven workflows as a core part of your creative process.
• Digital Storytelling: Paid media, AI search and ad tech trends spark your curiosity instead of scaring you off. You enjoy diving into new digital topics and turning them into formats people like to read, watch and share.
• German and English: Full professional proficiency in both written and spoken German and English. You will create content and scripts for both the DACH and international markets.

Nice to have

• Paid Media Experience: Hands-on experience running campaigns in LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Google Ads, including setup, targeting, budgets and performance reporting. If you haven't, we'll teach you.
• Autonomous Production: Ability to concept, produce, and deploy a complete video asset or creative campaign independently in a fraction of the traditional timeline.
