A rapidly growing property group is seeking an Acquisition Manager to drive the acquisition of residential development sites in South East Queensland. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in property acquisitions, strong negotiation skills, and a Queensland Full Real Estate License. This role offers an attractive salary, high commission structures, and a significant role in expanding the company’s footprint and pipeline of landmark projects.
A rare opportunity exists for an ambitious Acquisition Manager to join a rapidly growing property group with a development pipeline currently between $500M – $700M, with a clear trajectory toward $1B+ in the coming years.
We are seeking a gun operator who lives and breathes South East Queensland property – someone who can identify, evaluate, and secure the best residential, subdivision, and mixed-use sites across the region.
This role is for the driven and the connected. The successful candidate will not only have access to an exceptional pipeline but also play a pivotal role in shaping and growing the company’s footprint across Queensland.
Site Acquisition & Origination
Source, identify, and negotiate the acquisition of prime land subdivision, townhouse, and mixed-use residential sites across SEQ.
Leverage established industry networks to uncover both on-market and off-market opportunities.
Feasibility & Analysis
Run detailed feasibilities and financial models for all prospective sites.
Prepare acquisition reports and presentations for board-level decision making.
Planning & Development Insight
Provide preliminary town planning reviews and liaise with consultants to ensure sites are development-ready.
Assess development yield, zoning, overlays, and infrastructure requirements.
Agent & Market Relationships
Maintain strong relationships with leading agents, valuers, and key property professionals.
Represent the group with professionalism and integrity in all negotiations.
Strategic Growth
Drive the sourcing of sites to expand the pipeline from $700M toward the $1B+ target.
Work closely with senior leadership to refine strategy and execute acquisitions.
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in property acquisitions within SEQ.
Demonstrated track record in sourcing and acquiring residential subdivision, townhouse, or unit sites.
Strong knowledge of SEQ property market dynamics.
Proven ability to run feasibility studies and interpret planning frameworks.
Established agent and industry relationships.
High commercial acumen with strong negotiation skills.
Queensland Full Real Estate License (mandatory).
Self-starter with relentless drive and results orientation.
