Fabasoft Group in Linz, Austria, seeks an experienced accounting professional to manage ongoing bookkeeping, financial reporting, and payments for the group. The role requires strong IFRS knowledge, SAP S/4HANA familiarity, and a commitment to accuracy.

You will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual statements under UGB and IFRS, support tax returns, and help optimize accounting processes. Excellent German and English skills are essential.

Formación

• Commercial education completed and certified accountant exam is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting and several years of professional experience.
• Independent, structured, and meticulous work style with strong quality focus.
• Very good German and English language skills; SAP S/4HANA familiarity is a plus.

Your Mission

• Together with the team, you are responsible for the ongoing bookkeeping, financial reporting, and payment transactions of our group companies.
• You contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with the Austrian Commercial Code (UGB) and IFRS.
• You support the preparation of tax returns, VAT advance returns, and other tax-related matters.
• You contribute your expertise to the further development and optimization of our accounting processes and support your colleagues with your professional knowledge.

Your Profile

• You have a commercial education and have successfully completed the certified accountant examination. Knowledge of IFRS is an advantage (e.g. CIFRSA).
• You have several years of professional experience in financial accounting and in-depth knowledge of accounting.
• You work independently, in a structured and meticulous manner, and demonstrate a strong commitment to quality.
• You enjoy working in a team, have very good IT user skills, and ideally have experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Very good German and English language skills complete your profile.
