Proppel is partnering with a fast-growing US company producing a daily live show for the e-commerce community. We are seeking a creative Video Editor to turn raw footage into content that stops the scroll across platforms.

You’ll own edits from day one, working with the Head of Content to level up clips ranging from quick social bites to more produced mid-form edits and new formats. This role offers genuine creative ownership and opportunity to shape the show’s visual identity.

Formación

• 2+ years editing video for social and YouTube.
• Portfolio showing short-form and long edits.
• Strong command of professional editing suites (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, or similar).
• Motion graphics/animations to build overlays.
• Familiarity with horizontal and vertical video pacing for IG/TikTok/YouTube Shorts.

Responsabilidades

• Cut a condensed mid-form show daily, same-day turnaround when possible.
• Create short-form clips for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts.
• Enhance interviews and segments with motion graphics and polished visuals.
• Create standalone formats from recurring segments with b-roll & footage.
• Help develop new formats including gamified, sports-debate inspired graphics.

What we're looking for

We've partnered with a fast-growing US company that produces a daily live show for the e-commerce community, broadcasting every weekday across YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts. Alongside three hours of live content each day, they produce a daily newsletter and a constant stream of short-form clips. They're looking for a creative Video Editor to turn their raw footage into content that stops the scroll and wins on every platform. This is a key early hire, so you'll have real creative ownership from day one, working closely with the Head of Content to level up everything they publish from quick clips to more produced mid-form edits and brand new formats.

What You'll Be Doing

• Cut a condensed mid-form version of the show daily (focused on the news segment), turned around the same day whenever possible.
• Cut sharp short-form clips optimized for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
• Level up the best interviews and segments with graphics, motion, and a more polished look.
• Turn recurring competitive segments into standalone, YouTube-ready content, splicing in b-roll and supporting footage on the back end.
• Help develop new formats, including gamified, graphics-heavy segments inspired by classic sports-debate shows (think green screen, scoreboards, and on-screen elements).

Requirements

• 2+ years editing video for social and YouTube, with a portfolio showing both short-form and longer edits.
• Strong command of a professional editing suite (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, or similar).
• Motion graphics and animation skills (After Effects or similar) to build graphics packages and overlays.
• A clear instinct for platform-native pacing, hooks, and retention across IG, TikTok, YouTube, and Shorts.
• Comfort with green screen, chroma key, and compositing.
• Fast turnaround without dropping quality, plus a genuinely creative eye.
