Evox is seeking an experienced Senior Video Editor to support campaigns for North American universities, operating remotely across Latin America. The role focuses on crafting advertising-quality videos, brand storytelling, and digital content with collaboration from designers, copywriters, and strategists.

You will optimize content for YouTube, social media, and paid media, adapting formats and pacing for different channels while staying aligned with marketing goals and client feedback.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience in an agency, media production, or marketing team.
• Strong storytelling with pacing, audience engagement, and visual impact.
• Experience editing content for ads, brand campaigns, or corporate communications.
• Familiarity with motion graphics (text animations, lower thirds, transitions).
• Technical knowledge of color grading, sound design, and video formatting for social, web, and broadcast.
• Fluent English communication with US-based teams.

What You'll Do:

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns, ensuring strong storytelling and brand consistency.
• Enhance video quality through color correction, sound design, and smooth transitions.
• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations (text overlays, transitions, logo animations) to improve engagement.
• Optimize videos for different platforms , ensuring correct aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails based on distribution channels.
• Collaborate with creative teams -designers, copywriters, and strategists to align visuals with marketing goals.
• Manage video files and organize assets , ensuring structured workflows and version control.
• Review edits and refine content based on internal and client feedback before final delivery.
• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends to continuously improve video effectiveness.
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets , accounting for internal and client review steps.

Is This You?

• 3+ years of experience in professional video editing, preferably in an agency, media production, or marketing team setting.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro , plus working knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience editing content for ads, marketing, or corporate communications.
• Strong storytelling ability , with a clear understanding of pacing, audience engagement, and visual impact.
• Familiarity with motion graphics (text animations, lower thirds, transitions).
• Technical knowledge of color grading, sound design, and video formatting for social media, web, and broadcast.
• Highly organized -able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Fluent English communication skills , with the ability to work with U.S.-based teams.
• Experience optimizing video content for multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, TV).

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with education, technology, corporate, or mission-driven brands.
• Understanding of social media engagement strategies for video.
• Comfort presenting work and discussing revisions with clients.
