Evox is seeking a Senior Video Editor to join our remote team serving North American universities. You will edit and optimize video content for advertising, storytelling, and digital campaigns, collaborating with designers, copywriters, and strategists to deliver high-impact work.

This fully remote role supports a Latin America expansion, requiring strong English communication, a proven track record in agency or marketing settings, and mastery of Premiere Pro and After Effects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience.
• Advanced Premiere Pro skills; working knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience editing ads, marketing, or corporate content.
• Strong storytelling and pacing for engagement.
• Familiarity with motion graphics and color grading.
• Fluent English and ability to collaborate with U.S.-based teams.

Responsibilities

• Optimize videos for different platforms , ensuring correct aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails based on distribution channels.
• Collaborate with creative teams -designers, copywriters, and strategists to align visuals with marketing goals.
• Manage video files and organize assets , ensuring structured workflows and version control.
• Review edits and refine content based on internal and client feedback before final delivery.
• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends to continuously improve video effectiveness.
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets , accounting for internal and client review steps.

Is This You?

• 3+ years of experience in professional video editing, preferably in an agency, media production, or marketing team setting.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro , plus working knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience editing content for ads, marketing, or corporate communications.
• Strong storytelling ability , with a clear understanding of pacing, audience engagement, and visual impact.
• Familiarity with motion graphics (text animations, lower thirds, transitions).
• Technical knowledge of color grading, sound design, and video formatting for social media, web, and broadcast.
• Highly organized -able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Fluent English communication skills , with the ability to work with U.S.-based teams.
• Experience optimizing video content for multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, TV).

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with education, technology, corporate, or mission-driven brands.
• Understanding of social media engagement strategies for video.
• Comfort presenting work and discussing revisions with clients.
