A healthcare institution in Buenos Aires is seeking a LPC, LCSW, or Licensed Psychologist to provide comprehensive patient support. The successful candidate will work full-time, Monday through Friday, focusing on assessments, treatment plans, and therapy, while connecting patients with vital community resources. Formación

  • 1-3 years behavioral health or substance abuse counseling experience.
  • LCSW, LPC, or Licensed Psychologist licensure is required.
  • Physical ability to sit for prolonged periods and infrequently lift up to 20 lbs.

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is seeking a LPC, LCSW, or Licensed Psychologist to work withpatients ages 6 years and up at theBolivar Family Care Center.CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 long-term care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, rehab therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the department

CMH's Behavioral Health Department focuses on treating the “whole” person, not just the parts. CMH's behavioral health team includes psychiatrists, psychologists, counselors and licensed clinical social workers offering services in a variety of settings. Conditions treated includedementia, depression, addiction recovery, anxiety, and loss and grief, just to name a few.

A typical day will include:

Providing support and treatment to patients, family members, and caregivers in collaboration with other integrated care team members.

  • Conducts assessments to determine care needs
  • Developsindividualized treatment plans in collaboration with medical teams
  • Providestherapy to help patients cope with illness and its effects
  • Connects patients with community resources, such as financial assistance, housing, or support groups
  • Maintainsaccurate and confidential patient records within the defined reporting system
This position is:

Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm.

Job Requirements:
  • Education: MSW from a CSWE- accreditedSocial Workprogram or a Masters/Doctorate Degreein Psychology
  • Experience: 1-3 years behavioral health or substance abuse counseling (may include pre-degree practicum)
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication, time-management, collaboration
  • Licensure/Certification:LCSW,LPC, orLicensed Psychologist is required. We are unable to considerPLPCs at this time.
  • Physical: Sitting for prolonged periods of time; infrequently lifting up to 20 lbs.
