Southern Health-Santé Sud is seeking an experienced Recreation Coordinator to develop and coordinate a therapeutic recreation program for Personal Care Home residents and Transitional Care clients at MacGregor Health Centre.

The role includes supervising Activity/Recreation Workers and Volunteers, making priorities, and aligning with the organization’s mission and policies. In-person work, with days and nights shifts, is required.

Formación

• Minimum two years recent health care experience.
• Experience with geriatric population.
• Experience in charting and documentation procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, coordinate, implement and evaluate a therapeutic recreation program for residents and Transitional Care clients.
• Provide operational direction to Activity/Recreation Workers and Volunteers.
• Use initiative to set priorities and determine methods in alignment with organizational policies.
