Job summary

Chevron Global Business Services (GBS) in Buenos Aires is seeking an IT System Support Analyst - SAP to manage SAP TM/ MM modules and related logistics processes. You will collaborate with business partners to capture requirements, configure SAP, and support deployments in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

The role requires hands-on SAP operations experience, familiarity with ABAP debugging, SAP Security or integration, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP Transportation Management (TM) and IS Oil - Traders and Schedulers Workbench (TSW).
• Hands-on SAP operations support or project implementation on ECC or S/4HANA.
• Experience configuring SAP by functional area.
• Knowledge of ABAP debugging, SAP Security or SAP Integration is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a customer focus.

GBS Chevron Global Business Services (GBS), located in Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero), Argentina, is accepting applications for the position of IT System Support Analyst - SAP. Successful candidates will join the team, which is part of a multifunction service and technical center with a workforce of more than 1800 employees that deliver business services and solutions to the corporation across the globe.

Overview

We are looking for individuals with SAP application management and implementation experience in SAP TM, MM, and/or SAP Oil & Gas logistics solutions (including TD and LE-TRA) to join the Digital Core team responsible for the design, delivery, and support of SAP solutions in partnership with multiple product teams.

Join our team and work in an Agile environment with a primary focus on maintaining the application and optimizing evergreen support through configuration, automation, and integration.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

• Collaborate closely with Business Partners to gather business requirements
• Analyze and understand system capabilities
• Configure the SAP software to meet business needs or resolve issues
• Open to develop basic technical expertise on any of the following - ABAP code analysis/low code development, SAP Security, Fiori, continuous integration, or automation
• Partner with developers to design, code and implement custom or complex solutions
• Analyze, devise, and execute system tests to verify solutions\' effectiveness
• Oversee the deployment of solutions to the production environments
• Perform troubleshooting, analysis, and resolution of complex and critical production issues

Requirements

• Knowledge and experience in SAP Transportation Management (TM) and willing to be trained further in IS Oil - Traders and Schedulers Workbench (TSW)
• Solid years of proficiency and hands-on experience on SAP (ECC or S4 Hana) application operations support and/or project implementation
• Experience in SAP Configuration based on functional area of expertise
• Knowledge on ABAP Debugging or code analysis, SAP Security or SAP Integration is a plus
• Proven ability in analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Excellent customer focus and results-orientation
