Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a Data Customer Solutions Engineer to design, develop, deploy and manage scalable databases on Google Cloud. You will lead data migrations, ensure data governance, and work closely with customers and product teams to implement best practices.

The role requires proficiency in Python/Java, SQL, and experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and NoSQL databases. English and Portuguese/Spanish fluency is beneficial for LATAM engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience coding with Java, C/C++, Python.
• Experience with SQL and database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into scalable, cost-efficient database solutions.
• Lead data migration and modernization projects to Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop data quality and governance procedures for reliable data.
• Troubleshoot storage systems and optimize performance with stakeholders.
