Job summary

Producers Rice Mill in Rosario, Argentina is seeking a Safety-Sensitive Packaging Associate to join our team. Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:00 a.m.

to 4:00 p.m., with overtime including weekends and holidays. You will ensure packaging materials are clean and safe, preserve quality of packaged product, perform manual lifting up to 110 lbs, hand-pack into bailers, cases and display boxes, and carry out general sanitation.

Qualifications

• Must possess basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Must be willing and able to lift and stack up to 110 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to climb up to 4 feet off the ground.
• Must be willing and able to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist and turn throughout the day.
• Must be willing and able to tolerate working in hot and cold temperatures for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing and able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing and able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Must be willing and able to follow all safety and food safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for insuring packaging materials are kept clean and safe.
• Maintaining quality product (ensure counts, product appearance of packaged product) before, during and after packaging.
• Manually stacking up to 110 lbs. and wrapping packaged product.
• Hand packaging of product into bailers, cases, and display boxes.
• General sanitation activities (dry cleaning, sweeping, blowing, etc.).
