Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer/SRE to design, build, and maintain cloud environments, including infrastructure as code, Kubernetes deployments, and the observability stack.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of hands-on infra on a major cloud platform (AWS/GCP/Azure), Terraform expertise, GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux), production Kubernetes, and Python automation. Remote-friendly with flexible options and USD-based compensation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience designing and operating infrastructure on a major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Proven expertise building and managing infrastructure using Terraform.
• Experience using GitOps practices (ArgoCD or Flux) for automated deployments.
• Production Kubernetes clusters experience.
• Proficiency in Python for infrastructure automation and tooling.
• Experience with Grafana, Thanos, Tempo (observability stack).
• Experience designing HA architectures and DR failover plans.

Responsibilities

• Cloud & Infrastructure as Code: Provision, manage, and scale cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
• GitOps & Kubernetes: Deploy and maintain production Kubernetes clusters using declarative GitOps workflows.
• Automation Engineering: Write production Python code to create custom tools and platform integrations.
• Observability: Maintain telemetry using Grafana, Tempo, Loki, and Thanos for logging, metrics, and tracing.
• HA & DR: Implement and test HA and DR strategies to meet uptime and recovery requirements.
