As an Experienced Software Engineer in JPMorgan Chase’s Global Technology team, you will be part of an agile team that designs and delivers trusted, market‑leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. Depending on the team you join, you could be developing mobile features that empower customers and clients, strategizing on how big data can accelerate trading systems, creating the next innovation in merchant payments, or supporting the integration of our private and public cloud platforms.
We are hiring Software Engineers at Software Engineer II and Software Engineer III levels. Placement will be determined by a skills‑based assessment and candidate interview. For the Software Engineer II level, the role requires an ability to understand advanced features of a coding language, design a viable system, and solve functional problems using basic language applications. For the Software Engineer III level, the role requires a higher level of proficiency, independent functioning, and the ability to use and explain advanced features, design systems across technologies and platforms, solve functional and non‑functional problems, assess issues broadly, identify innovative solutions, collaborate, and guide others.
