Amazon Web Services Argentina S.R.L. is seeking a Security Solutions Architect to work with our largest customers from Buenos Aires.

You will help overcome barriers to AWS adoption by addressing security, risk and compliance questions, and establish executive-level relationships as their Security Advisor. You will collaborate with security, audit, risk and compliance teams to design controls, set up ongoing assurance and automated compliance, while mentoring teams and driving adoption of secure

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in an information security or compliance role.
• 5+ years of experience in a Cloud Security customer-facing role, such as Cloud Security Architect or Cloud Security Consultant.
• Hands-on experience securing AWS environments and understanding of architecting on AWS.
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences including training, workshops, publications.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English within business and technical settings.

Responsabilidades

• Convey cloud computing security and risk management best practices to AWS customers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop internal security expertise and drive revenue.
• Develop technical content (white papers, reference architectures, blog posts, workshops) for customers deploying secure cloud solutions.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Security Solutions Architect to work with our largest customers. In this vital role, you will help overcome barriers to AWS adoption by identifying and tackling major security, risk, and compliance questions from stakeholders, as well as build and maintain CISO/CRO and executive-level relationships becoming their Security Advisor. You will work directly with customer security, audit, risk and compliance teams to help them understand how to confidently utilize AWS, identify risk and design controls, setup ongoing assurance, and establish automated compliance.

The successful candidate will become a trusted advisor to customers and will work with AWS sales, business development, solutions architecture and product teams to help accelerate adoption by removing compliance and audit as barriers and suggest improvements to our services to meet the customer needs.

This position is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina and the role requires approximately 15% travel (including international).

Key job responsibilities

• Work with AWS customers to convey cloud computing security and risk management best practices
• Work with other teams within AWS develop the internal security expertise and to drive revenue
• Develop technical content, such as white papers, reference architectures, blogposts, workshops, or code samples that can be used by our customers to assist them in deploying secure cloud-based solutions
• Assess security-related knowledge across AWS sales and solutions architecture teams and develop plans to address gaps
• Presenting about security topics at AWS events, and represent AWS at security conferences by delivering presentations and lectures

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in an information security or compliance role
• 5+ years of experience in a Cloud Security customer-facing role, such as Cloud Security Architect, Cloud Security Consultant, Cloud Security Technical Sales or technical sales for cloud security solutions
• Hands-on experience securing AWS environments and understanding of architecting on AWS
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences including training, workshops, publications
• Ability to communicate effectively in English within business and technical settings (Verbal and Written).

Preferred Qualifications

• Security Certifications such as AWS Security Specialty Certification, CISSP, ISSAP, CCSP, or PCI-DSS ISA or similar are valued.
• Experience presenting on Security conferences
• AI Security Skills with demonstrated experience securing solutions leveraging IA.
• Experience Scaling through the creation of assets such as blogposts, articles, videos, podcasts, or engaging with technical communities
