Job summary

Parser is seeking a senior software engineer to own complex full-stack initiatives, mentor engineers, and shape technical direction. You will build a next-generation servicing tool and migrate legacy functionality to modern REST and GraphQL architecture.

You will work across globally distributed teams, delivering scalable backend and frontend solutions with a strong focus on production readiness and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 8+ years software engineering experience with Go and distributed systems.
• Hands-on in Microservices architecture and relational databases.
• Experience with AWS services and infrastructure tooling.
• Ability to migrate legacy code and read Java/C# to extract business logic.
• Proven track record in CI/CD, automated testing, and Agile delivery.

How will you impact?

Own complex full-stack initiatives while mentoring engineers and helping shape technical direction. You will engineer solutions, challenge assumptions, and drive technical excellence on a project building a next-generation servicing tool and platform, migrating existing functionality out of a legacy application ecosystem into a modern REST and GraphQL architecture.

Your key responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Design and implement scalable backend and frontend solutions.
• Participate in architectural design and technical decision-making.
• Develop APIs and complex integrations.
• Own production quality, monitoring, and operational improvements.
• Collaborate effectively across globally distributed teams.

What you'll bring to the role:

• 8+ years software engineering experience with strong expertise in Go (core language for modern API services and microservices).
• Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture and Relational Databases.
• AWS and infrastructure experience (EC2, ECS, CloudFormation, IAM, monitoring).
• Full-stack integration connecting front-end tools with backend REST endpoints and GraphQL API layers.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and Agile delivery.
• Ability to work independently.
• C#/.NET and Java experience: Ability to read, navigate, and analyze legacy C# and Java application code to extract business logic during migration.
• Experience with REST-based data streams/integrations, globally distributed engineering organizations, and supporting large-scale production systems.
