Bank of China, Buenos Aires Branch, seeks an experienced finance professional to oversee accounting, regulatory reporting, liquidity management and financial planning, working with the Department Co-Head and regulators.

This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, requiring strong IFRS knowledge, familiarity with BCRA and other regulators, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Formación

• Degree in Economic Sciences required; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of finance experience in banking or Big Four firms.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, local accounting standards and banking regulations.
• Experience preparing and submitting regulatory reports (BCRA).
• English at least upper-intermediate, written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Define and implement accounting policies and procedures per IFRS and local regs.
• Coordinate and review financial statements and regulatory reports for timely submission to BCRA and others.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting, including the Annual Business Plan.
• Support liquidity management, including monitoring liquidity, interest rate and market risk.
• Analyze balance sheet items and financial performance.
• Participate in financial planning and annual plan monitoring.
• Interact with regulators and auditors as needed.
• Assess impact of new regs and products on accounting and finance processes.

We are looking for an experienced Finance professional to join Bank of China - Buenos Aires Branch. The position combines accounting, regulatory reporting, liquidity management and financial planning, working closely with the Department Co-Head and interacting with local regulators and auditors.

This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.

Key responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Define and implement accounting policies and procedures in compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
• Coordinate and review Financial Statements and regulatory reports, ensuring accurate and timely submission to BCRA and other regulatory bodies.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting requirements, including the Annual Business Plan.
• Support asset and liability management, including liquidity, interest rate and market risk monitoring.
• Analyze key balance sheet items and financial performance.
• Participate in financial planning and monitoring the annual plan.
• Support interactions with BCRA, CNV and Tax regulators, as well as internal, external and regulatory reviewers.
• Analyze the impact of new regulations and products on accounting and finance processes.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Economic Sciences; Certified Public Accountant preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant finance experience within banks, financial institutions or Big Four consulting firms (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, local accounting standards and banking regulations (mandatory).
• Solid experience preparing and submitting regulatory reports, particularly to BCRA (mandatory).
• Knowledge of liquidity management and financial planning.
• Experience interacting with regulators and auditors is highly valued.
• Upper-intermediate English or above, written and spoken.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Full-time position 9:00AM to 5:00PM.
• Hybrid work model: 4 days onsite / 1day home office.
