Job summary

RYZ Labs is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a client team in the sports merchandising domain. You will help develop, maintain, and enhance a service-oriented, event-driven ecosystem using Elixir, Phoenix, LiveView, PostgreSQL, and RabbitMQ.

The role involves AWS, Terraform, and GitHub Actions, with remote teams across the US and LatAm. You will review code, collaborate with product and design teams, and break projects into manageable tasks while optimizing performance and fixing

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Elixir programming language and functional programming concepts.
• Experience building web applications with Phoenix or similar frameworks.
• Interest or experience in CQRS and evented systems.
• Familiarity with database systems and PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of web application security best practices.
• Experience with Git and working with a team (e.g. Pull Requests)
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience integrating legacy systems with modern platforms.

RYZ Labs is looking for aSenior Software Engineerto join one of our client’s teams, from the sports merchandising industry!

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineerto join the Sales & Finance Engineering team and contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of applications. You’ll help build and evolve a service-oriented, event-driven ecosystem of applications that position their teams to make the most informed decisions about the products they are releasing to their fans.

Their stack primarily uses Elixir with the Phoenix Framework, LiveView frontends, PostgreSQL databases, and an event-based system with RabbitMQ. They deploy on AWS EKS using Terraform and maintain continuous integration and deployment with GitHub Actions.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Elixir programming language and functional programming concepts.
• Experience building web applications with Phoenix or similar frameworks.
