Satellogic, a vertically integrated Earth Observation company, is seeking a Python Software Engineer to develop platform applications for hardware‑constrained satellite and ground station systems.

You will define evolving software architecture for satellites and ground stations while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team across offices in Buenos Aires and nearby hubs. Hybrid work and travel to Uruguay are expected.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of professional Python software development.
• 2+ years in embedded software development.
• Experience with GNU/Linux as a development platform.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and validate in orbit application software for satellite systems.
• Enhance and maintain software with expanded test coverage and better docs.
• Collaborate with the software team and participate in peer reviews for high‑quality code.
• Provide expert level support for the satellite operations team.
