Cowboy Space Corp. in Argentina is seeking a Wiring Harness Engineer to own end-to-end electrical and optical harness architecture for our spacecraft platforms, from concept to flight-ready hardware.

You will design robust harnesses that survive launch vibrations and thermal vacuum, collaborate with avionics, mechanical, and optical teams, and lead prototyping, testing, and qualification on Earth and in space environments.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace or related technical discipline.
• 2+ years designing and routing wire harness assemblies for aerospace/high-reliability hardware.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD and harness routing modules.
• Experience creating detailed manufacturing drawings and BOMs.
• Hands-on prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting harnesses.

Responsabilidades

• Own the technical roadmap and architecture for electrical and optical harnessing across spacecraft platforms.
• Create detailed harness schematics, routing diagrams, 3D CAD models, and manufacturing drawings.
• Design robust cable harness assemblies meeting mass, volume, and thermal constraints.
• Select space-rated connectors, wire types, shielding, and harness components.
• Define electrical harness testing protocols and lead their execution for flight readiness.
• Lead prototype assembly, environmental testing (vibration, TVAC), and qualification of harness hardware.
• Collaborate with mechanical and optical teams to ensure clearance and interface compatibility.
• Support integration and test campaigns on the manufacturing floor and during final assembly.
