Episode Six is a global fintech provider delivering API-based issuer processing and ledger infrastructure. We’re hiring a Software Development Engineer in Test for our Global IT Operations team to ensure quality across complex backend systems.

You will review requirements, design test plans, create automation scripts, identify bugs, and drive QA processes to deliver reliable software for clients worldwide.

Formación

• Previous experience in backend Java and JUnit.
• Proven record with large complex projects.
• Ability to read, write, listen, and speak English with business fluency.

Responsabilidades

• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely feedback.
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Plan and coordinate testing activities, prepare reports to communicate QA outcomes.
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts.
• Identify, record, document and track bugs.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products.
• Track QA metrics and statistics.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and strategies while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Communicate technical information effectively to team members and customers.
• Collaborate with teams on projects and related tasks.

Whatyou’llberesponsibleforin this role:

• Reviewing requirements,specificationsand technical design documents toprovidetimelyand meaningful feedback
• Creating detailed,comprehensiveand well-structured test plans and test cases
• Planning and coordinating testing activities, preparing reports to communicate outcomes of quality assurance activities
• Preparing quality assurance policies and procedures
• Designing,developingand executing automation scripts
• Identifying, recording,documentingand tracking bugs
• Performing thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Developing and applying testing processes for new and existing products
• Tracking quality assurance metrics and statistics
• Stayingup-to-datewith new testing tools and test strategies and assuring ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
• Communicating technical information, both written and verbal, effectively to other team members,teamsand customers of varying technical experience
• Working collaboratively with other team members,teamsand customers on projects, and other similar or related tasks.

• Previousexperience in backend Javaand JUnit
