Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to lead licensing activities for a large, regional software portfolio across Latin America. The role interacts with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering and publishers to ensure accurate licensing decisions and cost optimization.

Responsibilities include lifecycle management, compliance, renewals, and analytics to improve software utilization. Fluency in English and Spanish is required; located in Mendoza with regional relevance to LATAM

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAM experience with licensing in a multi-publisher environment.
• Knowledge of licensing models: node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user, cloud/SaaS.
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio and entitlements.
• Experience with renewals, license utilization, compliance and audits.
• Ability to handle high volumes and prioritize requests.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Advanced English and Spanish proficiency for regional/global collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle.
• Interpret licensing terms and entitlements across publishers and models.
• Maintain software asset and entitlement records, including purchasing data.
• Coordinate renewals, reallocations and optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering and publishers.
• Handle competing priorities in a high-volume environment and drive process improvements.
