FullStack is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (GCP) to join our talent network for remote engagements with U.S. clients. You will integrate into client teams and work daily with their designers and engineers to ensure reliability and performance.

We require 4+ years in SRE/infra or backend, strong GCP skills, and excellent English. A four-year degree is expected. The role offers 100% remote work and opportunities to collaborate with startups and Fortune 500 companies.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in site reliability, infra, or backend engineering.
• Advanced English required for client communication.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
• Experience with production reliability, incident response, and on-call operations.
• Strong GCP infrastructure experience including services like Cloud Run, SQL, and storage.
• Experience building monitoring/observability with Grafana/Prometheus/Datadog.
• Scripting skills in Python or Bash.

The Opportunity

Join our talent network and connect with U.S. clients for flexible, project-based development work as a Site Reliability Engineer (GCP).

• You will integrate directly into our client's team and work alongside their existing designers and engineers on a daily basis.

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of professional experience in site reliability engineering, infrastructure engineering, or backend engineering.


• Advanced English is required.


• Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required.


• Experience owning production reliability, incident response, on-call operations, and service availability.


• Strong background with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure, including Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Google Cloud Storage (GCS), compute, networking, and managed services.


• Proven experience building and improving monitoring, alerting, and observability systems using tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix, Datadog, or similar platforms.


• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or similar languages.


• Proven experience with Docker, containerized workloads, and CI/CD pipelines.


• Experience improving reliability through root cause analysis, incident prevention, blameless postmortems, and measurable reliability metrics.


• Strong background optimizing PostgreSQL performance, including connection pooling, query optimization, indexing, read replicas, and capacity planning.


• Experience improving infrastructure scalability, performance, availability, and cost efficiency.


• Familiarity with automating incident response and developing or integrating AI agents for alert triage and auto-remediation.


• Experience supporting ML or data infrastructure, including training pipelines and model monitoring, is a plus.


• Knowledge of infrastructure as code using Terraform or similar tools is a plus.


• Experience supporting physical or IoT systems, edge devices, cameras, or on-site hardware is a plus.


• Familiarity with bare-metal infrastructure, hardware monitoring, redundancy, failover, and high availability is a plus.


• Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed.


• Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications.


• Forensic attention to detail.


• A positive mindset and a can-do attitude.


• Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams.


• Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems.
