J.P. Morgan is seeking a Settlement Operations Lead to drive timely resolution of settlement exceptions and failed trades. You will oversee daily settlement activities, manage a team, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to minimize risk.

The role requires strong English communication, experience with reconciliations, and the ability to implement process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Experience in Settlements or related financial services operations.
• Strong English communication, written and verbal, with global stakeholders.
• Proven leadership, coaching and decision-making capabilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and oversee day-to-day settlement activities with adherence to controls.
• Manage and support a team, prioritizing and escalating as needed.
• Perform reconciliations across internal and external accounts.
• Monitor cash and stock breaks and coordinate timely remediation.
• Support settlement and post-settlement processing for securities.
• Review funding activities, wires, and position reconciliations for accuracy.
• Identify root causes of failures and communicate with stakeholders.
• Approve operating processes and high-risk control activities.
• Drive process improvements to reduce operational risk and exceptions.
• Collaborate with internal groups and external counterparties to resolve issues.
