Nordex SE is seeking a field technician to support maintenance, repair, and operation of wind turbines. You will perform preventive work, troubleshoot systems, and report daily activities in line with internal requirements.

The role requires working at heights, remote locations, and physical fitness. You will collaborate with the Service Operations Team and Backoffice to ensure high turbine availability and contribute to local and regional service excellence.

Formación

• Vocational training in electrical, mechanical or mechatronic fields with GWO certification.
• 0-2 years of experience in wind or similar field.
• Ability to work at heights and in remote locations is required.
• Physically capable of fulfilling the role and safety-minded.
• Basic IT competency and understanding of turbine components.

Responsabilidades

• Report daily activities, snags and maintenance tasks with materials booking.
• Maintain service point, tools, vans and local stock.

You are working together as part of the Service Operations Team, reporting to the Local Operations Manager and are responsible for troubleshooting and maintenance of turbines with a high safety standard. You would work closely with the operational and Backoffice team to ensure a high level of availability in the windfarm which enables high service standards for our customers and promote future company growth.

YOUR TASKS

• Responsible for maintenance, repair, and operation of wind turbines.
• Perform preventive maintenance and other routine tasks
• Troubleshoots and repairs systems and equipment of the turbine under guidance
• Report daily activities, snags and maintenance tasks in accordance with internal requirements including booking of materials
• Maintain a high standard of the Service point, tools, service vans and local stock
• Participate in field training and provide knowledge transfer to colleagues within the team

YOUR PROFILE

• Vocational training in electrical, mechanical, or mechatronic fields as well asGWO certification (Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling)
• 0-2 years of experience in the wind industry or similar field
• Ability to work at heights and in remote locations is a must
• Physically capable of fulfilling the role
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Basic IT competency
• Basic understanding of wind turbine components
