Umaez Llc is seeking a Senior Video Editor to lead editing for advertising, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns. This remote role supports North American universities and education clients, collaborating with designers, copywriters, and strategists to deliver high-impact videos across platforms.

You''ll optimize content for YouTube, social media, and paid campaigns, applying color, sound, motion graphics, and platform-specific formats to maximize engagement while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in professional video editing, preferably in an agency, media production, or marketing team.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, plus working knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience editing content for ads, marketing, or corporate communications.
• Strong storytelling ability, with a clear understanding of pacing, audience engagement, and visual impact.
• Familiarity with motion graphics (text animations, lower thirds, transitions).

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and campaigns, ensuring strong storytelling and brand consistency.
• Enhance video quality through color correction, sound design, and transitions.
• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations to boost engagement.
• Optimize videos for different platforms with correct aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and strategists to align visuals with marketing goals.
• Manage video files and assets with structured workflows and version control.
• Review edits and refine content based on internal and client feedback.
• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends.
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets with internal and client review steps.
