Clients Blackbox, Inc. is seeking a Senior Video Editor to edit and optimize video content for ads, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns. You will collaborate with designers, copywriters, and strategists to tailor content for YouTube, social media, and paid media campaigns.

This role supports the agency’s expansion into Latin America and requires strong storytelling and project management skills. You will work with U.S.-based teams, remain current on editing techniques and platform trends,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in professional video editing, preferably in an agency, media production, or marketing team setting.
• Advanced skills in video editing and storytelling for ads, brand campaigns, and digital media.
• Fluent English communication with U.S.-based teams.
• Familiarity with motion graphics and basic animations.
• Experience optimizing content for multiple platforms (YouTube, social, paid media).
• Strong sense of pacing, color, and sound design for social and broadcast.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns with strong storytelling and brand consistency.
• Enhance video quality through color correction, sound design, and smooth transitions.
• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations to improve engagement.
• Optimize videos for different platforms with correct aspect ratios, pacing, captions, and thumbnails.
• Collaborate with creative teams to align visuals with marketing goals.
• Manage video files and assets with structured workflows and version control.
• Review edits and refine content based on internal and client feedback before final delivery.
• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends to improve video effectiveness.
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets, accounting for review steps.
