Job summary

Medallia, the pioneer in Experience Management, is expanding its Text Analytics team in Buenos Aires. The role focuses on building large-scale text processing pipelines using Java, Kafka, and Kubernetes, integrating NLP/GenAI capabilities with ML models and data services.

You will design scalable pipelines, collaborate with data science teams, and help shape how AI-derived insights are produced for customers.

Qualifications

BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
4+ years backend software development experience with Java.
Experience integrating AI coding assistants into development workflows and code reviews.
Proven proficiency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Design, implement and drive the technical roadmap and product implementation.
Ship software that is scalable and robust and maintainable.
Partner with dependent teams across engineering to ensure uninterrupted service.
Identify gaps in knowledge, tools, and process with PM to address them.
Incorporate best development practices and build tooling to enforce them.
Work in small agile teams with daily standups, demos, code reviews and spikes.
Mentor and coach junior engineers and share knowledge via tech talks.
Engage with Medallia Engineering's tech community through meetups.
