Next Frontier Capital is seeking a Senior Technology Officer to lead a small local technology team in Argentina and serve as a senior tech partner to Markets and Payments. The STO will translate business strategy into a prioritized technology roadmap, ensure reliable delivery, and influence regional/global stakeholders to execute the Argentina strategy.

The role requires strong leadership across matrixed teams, a focus on production resilience, and adherence to regulatory controls.

Formación

• 10+ years of experience in technology roles including end-to-end delivery and production operations for critical systems.
• Demonstrated people leadership experience with direct reports and small teams with high impact.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive execution across matrixed regional/global teams.
• Experience operating in controlled/regulated environments with strong risk and governance expectations.
• Excellent communication skills—able to present trade-offs and recommendations to senior leaders.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop a local technology team (3 FTE) and establish clear goals and performance expectations.
• Translate Markets and Payments priorities in Argentina into an executable technology roadmap with milestones.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to shape priorities and drive decisions across regional/global tech teams.
• Own delivery planning and execution for Argentina initiatives, tracking progress and escalating issues.
• Ensure stability and resilience of critical systems; lead incident and problem management.
• Ensure adherence to controls across SDLC, change management, access, and data handling.
• Drive CI/CD maturity, automated testing, observability, and deployment quality.
• Oversee local vendor performance to meet operational and control expectations.
• Coordinate with compliance/control partners for regulatory and local readiness.
