Digital Executive is seeking a full-time Tax Manager to own the tax function for a CPA-led outsourced finance firm. This is a department ownership role with ultimate authority on complex returns and high-risk filings, reporting to the CEO and sitting on the leadership team.

• Active U.S. PTIN or eligibility to obtain one immediately.
• Experience with U.S. tax returns and review ownership.
• Experience running a tax season with capacity planning and calendars.
• Strong ability to explain tax concepts in plain language.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as final reviewer and technical authority for complex tax positions.
• Approve returns before filings leave the department.
• Own tax season capacity planning and the filing calendar.
• Lead tax function during the January-April filing season.
• Build and develop the tax team as the department grows.
• Establish and maintain review standards and workpapers.
• Own tax advisory across the client base, including quarterly estimates.
• Communicate with business owners about equipment, structure, timing.
• Manage TaxDome as the tax system of record.
