Boston-based tax and accounting firm is seeking a Tax Manager to own the full tax cycle for a portfolio of digital entrepreneur clients. The role requires stepping into management, reviewing complex returns, and mentoring staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

You will prepare 1040s, 1120s, and S-Corp filings, manage client communications through TaxDome, and participate in client calls to discuss savings strategies.

Formación

• Proven experience in independently preparing 1040s and 1120S.
• Strong knowledge of S-Corp basis tracking and AAA accounts.
• Ability to read and reconcile P&Ls, balance sheets, and K-1s.
• Experience supervising junior staff and providing feedback.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and review 1040s, Cs, and 1120s for content creator clients under $1M.
• Build sub-schedules to reconcile P&Ls before finalizing returns.
• Oversee staff accountant work, ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Coach staff on return quality and provide constructive feedback.
• Coordinate with clients via TaxDome and respond to tax questions.
• Participate in client tax calls and assist with savings walkthroughs.
