As part of Global Business Support Center located in Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero), Upstream Finance Department provides financial and accounting services to Chevron Global Upstream organization around the world, covering a wide range of activities.
Our team provides tax and royalties support to Chevron's international Upstream operations. We are responsible for indirect tax compliance, primarily for Argentina and Venezuela; as well as filing and review of Oil & Gas Royalties for Argentina Upstream operations. Additionally, we support international Exploration entities with direct tax processes, including tax accounting, deferred income tax and related compliance activities. The team also supports regulatory compliance, audits, controls, process improvement and digital transformation initiatives.
The Senior Tax Analyst will serve as a key technical reference for Argentina Tax, providing oversight across tax compliance, Oil & Gas royalties, audits, internal controls and special projects. The role combines strong technical expertise with business partnership, sound judgment and the ability to drive improvements across processes and stakeholders.
