Job summary

Premier Research Group is seeking a Statistical Scientist Director to lead our Biostatistics team in a remote Argentina role. You will pilot statistical strategy from protocol design through reporting, interfacing with sponsors and internal teams.

Ideal candidates hold an MS or PhD in statistics or related field, with 15+ years in clinical trials and expertise in SAS, R, CDISC, and regulatory submissions; travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in statistics or closely related field.
• 15+ years of experience in clinical trials design and analysis, preferably in CROs.
• At least 1 year in technical design/analysis implementing innovative statistical methods.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory, scientific, technical and clinical conduct in trials.
• Excellent English and host country communication skills, and ability to travel ~20%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead statistician on complex client studies, guiding project-level strategy from protocol planning to reporting.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly to sponsors, regulatory bodies, and clinical teams.
• Develop sample size estimation, adaptive or Bayesian methods, and innovative trial designs.
• Provide oversight for SAPs, CSR contributions, and regulatory documents.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies, manage timelines and budgets.
