Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Senior Software Test Automation Engineer to join the Access Management Engineering team in our global technology footprint.

Qualifications

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 4+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on experience in system design, development, testing and operational stability.
Experience coding, debugging and maintaining in a large corporate environment using modern languages and database querying.
Experience with AI-assisted software development tools and critical evaluation of AI outputs for correctness and security.
Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, and secure handling of inputs/outputs.

Responsibilities

Execute software solutions including design, development and troubleshooting with non-routine problem solving.
Leverage AI coding assist tools to improve code quality and delivery speed while ensuring peer review and secure coding standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify solutions meeting business needs.
Design, develop and execute testing scenarios covering business functions.
Triage and analyze failures in complex multi-system environments.
Develop automation frameworks for functional and performance testing of API services.
Work with product management, business analysts and development teams throughout delivery.
