Qualifications

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 4+ years applied experience.
Hands-on experience in system design, development, testing, and stability in a large corporate env.
Experience coding with modern programming languages and database querying languages.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools with ability to review AI outputs.
Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity and secure handling in workflows.
Knowledge of SDLC and agile practices including CI/CD, resiliency and security.
Familiarity with REST services, JDBC, JSON/HTML/XML, Maven, IDEs, and GIT.

Responsibilities

Execute software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with non-routine approaches.
Leverage AI coding tools to improve code quality, speed, and productivity with peer review and testing.
Partner with stakeholders to identify solutions that meet their needs.
Design, develop, and execute testing scenarios covering business functions.
Perform triage and analysis of failures in multi-system environments.
Develop automation frameworks for functional and performance testing of APIs.
Collaborate with product management, business analysts, and development teams.
