Eclypsium, a leader in supply chain security, seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Córdoba with strong C/C++ and embedded systems background. You will design, develop, and maintain core cybersecurity products, collaborating across teams to deliver secure software for enterprise environments.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in software engineering, experience with Python or JS, Docker, and CI/CD. The role offers hybrid work, opportunities to mentor, and a path toward advanced technical leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable software components using C, C++ and Python.
• Analyze, implement, test and validate techniques to access hardware/firmware on endpoints and servers (x86 and ARM).
• Troubleshoot complex issues and identify root causes with effective solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to understand requirements and implement features.
• Write clean, well-tested code following industry best practices.
• Provide mentorship to less experienced engineers.
• Stay up-to-date with technologies and contribute to continuous learning.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast paced environment, operate gracefully under stress, effectively manage multiple assignments, be self driven, proactive and have great interpersonal and communication skills.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of our core cybersecurity products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions that address complex technical challenges. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor and collaborate effectively with other engineers.

Role & Responsibilities

• Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure software components using C, C++ and Python, focusing on low-level system applications, kernel drivers, and hardware/firmware access. Be part of a cross-functional team with flexibility on implementing solutions also with other languages and tools, to implement a firmware security solution for enterprises.

• Technical Research: Analyze, implement, test and validate about different techniques to access Hardware/Firmware systems on endpoint devices and servers (mainly x86 and ARM).

• Technical Problem Solving: Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.

• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements, design solutions, and implement features.

• Code Quality: Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code, following industry best practices and coding standards.

• Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers, helping them grow their skills and knowledge.

• Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development and cybersecurity, and contribute to the team's continuous learning and improvement efforts.

Minimum qualifications

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in C/C++ development. Low/level (embedded systems or driver programming) experience encouraged.

Technical Skills:

• Expert proficiency in at least one of our core languages (C/C++).

• Experience with embedded systems and/or system drivers development.

• Experience with Python or JS.

• Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker).

• Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Passion for learning and self-improvement.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with cybersecurity products or technologies.

• Experience with BIOS/UEFI and or equivalent platform firmware

• Experience with PCI/USB

• Experience with GPU for GenAI usage and low level firmware

• Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI).

• Knowledge of big data processing and analytics tools.

• Contributions to open source projects.
