J.P. Morgan is seeking a Sr Lead Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure hardware-based cryptographic infrastructure supporting critical payment and data operations.

You will lead architecture discussions, drive resiliency, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across a global organization. You bring deep expertise in Hardware Security Modules, cryptographic key management, cloud-based HSM solutions, and a strong background in security engineering.

Formación

• Formal training or certification in security engineering concepts with 5+ years of hands-on HSM experience.
• Extensive Linux/Unix administration in enterprise environments.
• Experience with OpenSSL and certificate-based authentication.
• Proficiency in public cloud key management and HSM solutions.
• Ability to review AI-assisted security recommendations for risk and auditability.
• Advanced English skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead architecture, design, and docs for HSM and cryptographic infra.
• Use enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate risk analysis and documentation.
• Design and implement HSM solutions across Thales and FutureX.
• Develop architectural diagrams, runbooks, and system docs.
• Define infra standards and security controls aligned with policies.
• Oversee migration, upgrade, and consolidation of HSM infra.
• Provide guidance on key management, confidential computing, PCI DSS and FIPS.
• Troubleshoot infra and HSM issues; perform root cause analysis.
• Contribute to risk assessments, audits, and incident response related to infra.
• Apply reuse-first, AI-assisted SDLC practices for security testing.
• Apply domain knowledge of payments and resiliency to infra design.
