Job summary

Myedspace Limited is seeking a Senior Video Editor to craft compelling video content for advertising, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns. This remote role focuses on delivering high-quality edits for YouTube, social media, and paid media while collaborating with design and strategy teams.

You will optimize content for platforms, apply color and sound improvements, and stay ahead of trends to ensure efficient project delivery across North American university campaigns.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably in an agency, media production, or marketing team.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience editing ads, marketing, or corporate communications content.
• Strong storytelling ability with pacing and visual impact.
• Familiarity with motion graphics (text animations, lower thirds, transitions).
• Technical knowledge of color grading, sound design, and video formatting for social media, web, and broadcast.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Fluent English communication skills, with ability to work with U.S.-based teams.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns.
• Enhance video quality through color correction, sound design, and smooth transitions.
• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations (text overlays, logo animations).
• Optimize videos for different platforms with correct aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and strategists to align visuals with marketing goals.
• Manage video files and organize assets with structured workflows.
• Review edits and refine content based on internal and client feedback.
• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends.
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets accounting for review steps.
