Job summary

vidIQ is seeking an experienced frontend-leaning software engineer to own entire product surfaces from UI to backend APIs. You will shape features, ship AI-powered experiences, and improve performance across the stack in a remote, globally distributed team.

You will collaborate across teams, design APIs, and mentor others while maintaining a strong focus on product quality and user experience. Excellent communication and an ownership mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong frontend focus with ability to design API and server-side code.
• Able to work across the client-server boundary and debug end-to-end.
• Self-driven with decision-making and ownership.
• Led projects from concept to completion and mentored others.
• Clear verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Own principal product surfaces end to end across the stack.
• Build backend APIs, services, and data flows when needed.
• Drive your own roadmap from user feedback and data insights.
• Ship AI-powered features across the stack and ensure robust UX.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve architecture and performance.
• Promote responsible AI usage and collaborate with AI tools in daily work.
• Review code and provide constructive feedback to teammates.
